All hemp and CBD oils are not equal! GREAT•ful begins with premium, organically-farmed, hemp from a strain that was especially cross-bred to optimize CBD levels and keep THC low. CBD is one of at least 100 chemical compounds called cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, and will NOT get you high. Cannabinoids naturally occur in humans as well. CBD extracts fall under one of three categories:

Full-spectrum CBD: Contains a variety of cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and other compounds that support the ‘entourage effect’ of CBD.

Broad-spectrum CBD: Can be the same as a Full-spectrum CBD extract, but contains no THC. However, the process of removing THC to create a broad-spectrum CBD extract may also remove other compounds found in a full-spectrum version.

CBD Isolate: All cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, etc. are removed EXCEPT CBD.

Hemp is part of the cannabis family of plants, but must have less than 0.3% THC in order to be considered a true hemp plant. Medicinal marijuana can contain 10% or more THC. We use a strain that is high in CBD and very low in THC for our CBD products.

GREAT•ful CBD oil is extracted using the aerial parts of the hemp plant, whereas Hemp Seed oil is made from pressing hemp seeds, and does NOT contain any cannabinoids.

Potentially. While we guarantee less than 0.3% THC can be found in GREAT·ful (though the amount is significantly less), this small amount may register on a drug test.
